Lyrics

A deadly success after an attempt
Around the curb, his remains were sent
They lift him up, throw him in the back
Another day of taking out the trash

There's a new kinda landfill
Trash city is planned to get built
Getting pushed around has worn him out
For the endless chain filling up a mound

Rotting in the sun, his presence decays
He's not the only one, who changes by day
Never ever found, the help you could lend
Forgotten in the mound, without your regret

Time has passed, more bodies were found
All were added to the rotten mound
The culprits who killed off his sanity
Use the land to sell their slogan tees

Rotting in the sun, his presence decays
He's not the only one, who changes by day
Never ever found, the help you could lend
Forgotten in the mound, without your regret

Your twisted views have made this mess
Creating victims of the stress
Pushing him out of the way
Now the dump's his place to stay

Pushing buttons on the screen
Never let him in the scene
Now your grudge has full control
But you don't mind what takes a toll

Slogans never were a simple fix
It's just a simple fucking cover up trick
It fabricates passion we never had
It just brings more in a plastic bag

About Landfill

Landfill is about people who have no care for the well being of others and only show “morals” when it’s for their own personal benefit. This is shown through a person neglected by others very badly, so badly that it led to his suicide. After his death, people do nothing to honor his memory, dropping him in a metaphorical ‘landfill’ of bodies filled with victims of a similar cause. These culprits don’t take responsibility for what they have done and instead pretend to care, using the ‘landfill’ as land where they sell their motivational slogan T-shirts to help people cope with the shock. These slogans do nothing to help and just reduce the victim’s memory into a pep rally-like chant.
